Transit advertising prices

These prices are for 2015 and vary per system.

Reno/Sparks - Reno Transit Authority (RTC)

Rates vary depending on the size of the advertisement, how many buses we want it on, and how long the advertising is run. The full breakdown can be found here, but a "queen size" advertisement for one month on 1 - 9 buses costs just under $200. This advertisement is on the oustside of the bus and is very cost-effective. They also have in-bus advertising at a very cheap rate. However, we have to provide our own panels for all of these. Something to consider. In their linked-above press kit they have a few vendors they've gone through for printing.

Because of this, the tech specs will vary per vendor.

Carson City - Jump Around Carson (JAC)

Jump Around Carson offers rates for on-bus advertising, in-bus advertising, and bus shelter advertising; the full rate card can be found here. Our best bet for this one is the in-bus advertising, which runs about $100 for a month in all of the buses in use in Carson City. Next year we might want to consider the shelter advertisements, which run about $350 for six months.

JAC runs their advertising through the Nevada Appeal. The contact information is as follows:

Tonya Champa
Advertising Director
Phone Number: 775-881-1277
Cell Number: 775-721-1420
E-Mail: [email protected]

We are attempting to find the required tech specs for advertisements.

Douglas County - Douglas Area Rural Transit (DART)

DART does not currently have a rate card. The contact information for this is:

Travis K. Lee
Senior Services and Public Transit Manager
Douglas County, NV
P.O. Box 218
Minden, NV 89423

(Yes, they want us to send a letter.)

DART takes .jpg and .pdf file formats.

Lake Tahoe

There are a lot of transit authorities in use surrounding Lake Tahoe. We are in the process of organizing these and getting information. Bear with us.
